In this presentation, we will show detailed examples of how and why integrating your localization and quality assurance (QA) team into your game development pipeline at the early stages of production will save you time, resources, and cost. Day Zero is an international localization and QA service provider for AA and AAA productions, and a licensed developer for Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony (including PS5). We will share working examples from recent projects such as Sniper Ghost Warrior (CI Games) and Bake ‘n Switch (Streamline Games) to provide context, clarity, and results of choosing this development method. Attendees will walk away with tried and tested methods, and strategies to adopt into their pipeline, and can ask more detailed questions in the post-presentation, live Q&A.

Takeaways:
Attendees will learn how the localization and QA pipeline can fully integrate into a game codevelopment pipeline; what experiences they can expect when outsourcing game development to codevelopers in emerging game markets and clear up myths and preconceived notions; and why a good experience with close-knit collaborations turn into repeat customers, even when compared to competitors with lower prices.
