Game Global was designed as an event for stakeholders from the video game globalization industry (including text and audio translation and localization, localization and functional QA) to meet and share their endeavors, successes, best practices and research in a collaborative and transparent manner. We focus on three main areas: localization, localization testing and functional testing. You can check our website for further details.

Are there any discounts for students?veseycreative2020-09-28T11:24:20+02:00
The event will be hosted on the Whova app, which is available both on mobile and desktop/laptop browser. Two weeks before the event, all registered participants will receive a link to create their profile and start exploring the app. Through the app participants will be able to access the agenda, attendee and speaker profiles and many networking opportunities. Presentations are also streamed live through the platform thanks to the integration with Zoom.
I’m worried I won’t be able to figure out Whova in order to attend the event. Can you give a rundown of how Whova works before the event?veseycreative2020-09-28T11:33:00+02:00
The quality of our presentations, the experience of our speakers, the openness of the discussion and the networking opportunities will be the same. The main difference is that due to the current situation in the world, we are moving the conference to our home screens.
Attendees from past events particularly appreciated the networking opportunities offered and we want our first Game Global Digital Summit to be as interactive as possible. The Whova platform will offer multiple networking options: access to attendee and speaker profiles, a social wall, connection to social media, games, polls, breakout rooms, a virtual lunch on and virtual drinks at the end of the event.
I would like to share the presentations with others who can’t attend, is this possible?veseycreative2020-09-28T12:03:09+02:00
No, none of the presentations, round tables, panels, networking events or meetings can be recorded. We will record the presentations, round tables and panels in the program on our side and they will be made available to registered attendees through the Whova app.
Can I join the event after it’s started?veseycreative2020-09-28T12:06:35+02:00
Yes, all registered participants can choose to attend only one day and watch the recordings of the presentations they have missed. However, we only offer one registration fee that includes both days, there is no discount for only attending one day.
Can I use my phone to attend? Or just a computer? What about an iPad?veseycreative2020-09-28T12:08:26+02:00
