Jakub Marszałkowski is the cofounder and a board member of Indie Games Poland, conducting projects that provide the presence of Poland at expos and conferences, travel scholarships, game jams, or visits of foreign delegations in Poland. Jakub regularly serves as a spokesperson for the Polish game industry and the CEE region. He was recognized with the annual award of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as an organizer and promoter working for game developers. As the head of the Game Industry Conference in Poznań, Jakub developed it into one of the largest events in the CEE region. He is also a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Poznan University of Technology.
