Vladimir has been in game localization since 2010. He started as an undergraduate Mandarin-to-Russian translator. He graduated in 2012 with a thesis on Chinese MMORPG translations, and gradually improved his skills until he ended up managing a team of in-house translators for a Chinese mobile gaming company in Beijing in 2015. He lives a life of a passionate localizator: in his spare time he localizes the webcomics series Zen Pencils, and in early 2017 he and his wife volunteered to localize the Indian comic book Menstrupedia into Russian.
